Article appearing in STEINWAY MAGAZINE
Over the last several years, Steinway Artist Stanley Yerlow has made frequent appearances on the popular daytime TV programs Live with Regis and Kathie Lee and Live with Regis and Kelly. Through these appearances, Yerlow has become known to millions of viewers as Regis Philbin’s music director. But aside from these celebrity affiliations (he has taught piano to such students as Philbin, Phil Donohue, Tony Roberts, and Elaine May, and is celebrating his 15th year anniversary as Philbin’s conductor this year), Yerlow is an accomplished teacher, concert pianist, and entertainer in his own right.
Yerlow studied at the University of Georgia where he received his bachelor of music and master of fine arts degrees. He completed doctoral studies at the Eastman School of Music. He has served on the faculties of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, the State University of New York, and New York University. Yerlow has given master classes, lectured throughout Europe, South America, and the United Stated, and served on the juries of numerous important piano competitions. He has performed at Carnegie Recital Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, and the Museum of the City of New York, as well as concerts throughout South America and Europe. He has also taken his performances to sea, with his own headline act and classical music concerts on cruise ships of Holland America, Renaissance, Celebrity, Seabourn, Silver Sea, Princess, Norwegian Cruise lines, and the QE2.
Called the unstoppable Stanley Yerlow, he has recorded two albums, Yerlow on Fire and Yerlow in Concert.

Stanley Yerlow was a HUGE success at Congregation Adath Jeshurun in Louisville. Besides having a great program, he was a pleasure to work with. The man is a virtuoso!
We had Stanley for a Member Appreciation event and he provided us with a memorable performance. He is still the talk of the town. He is high energy with a great sense of humor and an amazing pianist.
Feel free to use me as a reference. All the best,

Review of Concert Presented at Devonshire at PGA National, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida
I recently heard a Rachmaninoff Sonata for Piano and Cello inspiringly played by Stanley Yerlow, pianist, from New York and cellist, Claudio Jaffe , Brazil born and living an active life in South Florida.
Dr. Yerlow plays with a zestful technique that has a spontaneous quality equal to the challenges of the Rachmaninoff and the Beethoven ............,also on the program.
Yerlow's strong hands are remarkably sensitive to a whispered pp, while commanding of large dark sounds.
Hearing these two men and watching them play was for me a splendid investment of time, and a most satisfying concert.
